The Lumby Public Market is a seasonal Market that features owner-operated stalls and/or “day tables”. As a Public Market, we provide a showcase for local and area agricultural producers as well as artisans, crafters, musicians, home-based businesses and local entrepreneurs. It celebrates Lumby and area’s unique character and culture while serving its everyday shopping needs. Lumby Public Market is home to B.C.’S FIRST BUTTER TART FESTIVAL.
The Market is Open Every Saturday 9am-1pm, from the 2nd Saturday in May to the 2nd Saturday in October

It’s pretty easy to find things in Lumby, we only have one red light and it’s a four-way stop at the intersection of Highway 6 and Shuswap Avenue. So, upon entering the Village from Vernon, one of the first Butter Tart Sites you’ll see is Lumby United Church, it’ll be to your left – across from the Shell Gas Station. To find the Butter Tart Festival turn left at the four-way stop and go down to the RCMP station and turn right. Keep going you can’t miss it.
